(BEDFORD) - The 6th Annual Bobby Tipton Charity Ride is scheduled for August 6.
Tipton died in 2010, and his family established the charity ride in his honor in 2011 to benefit a local charity or a family in need.
This year's ride will benefit Joe Wells and Stacey Armstrong. Wells was in an accident on November 7, 2015, and is still recovering from his injuries.
The ride will begin and end at Wilson Park Shelter House.
Registration starts at 11 a.m., and kickstands go up at noon.
Following the ride there will be a meal, raffles and door prizes.
