(LOOGOOTEE) - Loogootee police arrested two people Sunday on drug charges.
Police arrested 49-year-old Candace L. Hawkins and 25-year-old Lacy Hawkins both of Shoals after an investigation involving a k9 unit, the Martin County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police and the Department of Child Services.
Candace Hawkins was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana, visiting a common nuisance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lacey Hawkins faces charges of maintaining a common nuisance, possess of drug paraphernalia, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and neglect of a dependent.
Both are being held in the Martin County Jail.
