Springville Heritage Festival Kicks Off Tonight

(SPRINGVILLE) - Springville Heritage Festival kicks off tonight.

Featured tonight will be a silent auction, art show, live gospel and bluegrass music, kids' games a classic car cruise in and baby contest and open-air market of vendors with handmade items.

Parade Grand Marshal Dr. George Sorrells will step off the parade "200 Years of Indiana Heritage," Saturday at 4 p.m. right after the Springville Choir sings 'On the Banks of the Wabash.'

Funds raised at the festival help support the Springville park as well as the Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Activities kick off at 6 p.m. Friday, and finish with a bang with a fireworks display at dusk on Saturday.
