Safe Night Is Saturday At Lawrence County Fairgrounds

Last updated on Wednesday, June 8, 2016

(BEDFORD) - Safe Night 2016 is Saturday at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

This year's event will include long-time favorites airbrush face painting, t-shirt tie-dying, inflatable games, an obstacle course, hot dogs and chips, ice cream, snow cones, popcorn and much more.

As always admission, food, treats and all activities are free!

The Indiana State Police will have a booth with information and education about cyber-crimes that are affecting today's youth.

The plan is to bring back the "drunk goggles" presentation with local law enforcement and firemen to get youth's attention about the dangers of drunk driving.

Officials are still accepting booth request and donations. It is free to have a booth. If you are interested to participate in this year's event contact Nichole Krahenbauhl at (812) 849-4447 ext. 382 or email nkrahenbuhl@hoosieruplands.org
