NLCS Approves Revised Drug Testing Policy For School Bus Drivers

(BEDFORD) - The North Lawrence Community School Board approved a revised drug testing policy for bus drivers.

Darren Waggoner, North Lawrence Director of Transportation, worked with school attorney Greg Pittman in formulating the changes.

Waggoner told the Times-Mail the policy was at least 20 years old and a number of sections were out of date when compared to current regulations.

The revisions will bring the policy up to date and address situations such as diluted samples and failure to produce a sample, Waggoner says.
