(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly injured his wife during a domestic dispute Sunday.
Mitchell Police arrested 32-year-old Michael Thompson on a charge of domestic battery in the presence of a minor.
Police were called to a home in the 800 block of West Frank Street at 12:33 p.m. Sunday after a woman called reporting her husband had battered her.
When police arrived she told them Thompson had hit her in the face, which police say was red and swollen.
Thompson did admit he had struck the woman.
He posted a $755 bond and was released from jail on Monday.
