(BEDFORD) - A Martinsville man was arrested after he lost control of his vehicle on Popcorn Road and struck a mailbox Monday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, officers arrested 35-year-old Shawn Stiles on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated child endangerment and driving a vehicle while his driver's license was suspended with a prior conviction.
According to police, Stiles was traveling south on Popcorn Road when he lost control of his 1991 General Motors pickup, ran off the road and struck a mailbox at 1732 Popcorn Road.
Stiles had two children in the vehicle. They were picked up before police arrived on the scene.
No one was injured in the accident.
