(BLOOMFIELD) - The Greene County Commissioners tabled current bids for road paving.
According to president Nathan Abrams, the decision come after changes in statute for road funding.
The commissioners voted to re-advertise the work with additions added, allowing contractors more time to bid on the projects.
The Commissioners will open bids at its second meeting in August, which will be before the state awards match money.
Bid packages are available in the highway department.
The next Commissioners meeting will be held July 5 at 9:30 a.m. in the Greene County Courthouse in Bloomfield.
