(BLOOMINGTON) - Former Indiana University football player Antonio Allen pleaded guilty Thursday to dealing heroin and meth.

Monroe County Judge Teresa D. Harper sentenced him to concurrent sentences of four years on home detention. He'll also be on probation and will be required to serve 100 hours of community service.

All other charges against Allen were dismissed, including possession of cocaine, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of heroin.

According to court records, Allen will be able to continue his football career at Marian University, where he currently is enrolled as a student and will be allowed to leave his home to attend class, go to work, football practice and games.

Allen, a star at Ben Davis before coming to IU, was arrested in June 2015. The junior defensive back was caught in a sting operation from Indiana State Police and was arrested on several felony charges for dealing meth and heroin out of an apartment next to the football stadium where police found a .45-caliber Colt handgun, 47 grams of cocaine, 13 grams of heroin, $920 and three partially smoked narcotic-filled cigars.
