(PAOLI) - Chad Johnson has been named principal at Paoli High School.
The Paoli school board approved Johnson's hiring last week. His first official day will be July 1, but he will begin now familiarizing himself with the school and staff.
Johnson succeeds Todd Hitchcock, who accepted a job as assistant superintendent at Greater Jasper Schools after having served three years as PHS principal and three years as assistant principal before that.
Kyle Neukam will serve as assistant principal.
Wes Whitfield was named principal at Paoli's Throop Elementary School, succeeding Jan Van Emon, who retired. Whitfield also will be transportation director for Paoli schools. Amanda Crews will continue in her role as assistant principal at Throop.
