(MORGAN CO.) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an ATV crash that killed a Camby woman Sunday night.

According to police, 44-year-old Paula Boyden was operating a Polaris Sportsman 450 ATV on a county road near her home in Camby around 9 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle in a curve.

The vehicle left the roadway, causing the ATV to flip and roll over on her.

Boyden was not wearing a helmet or any other protective gear. She was pronounced dead after being transported to St. Francis Hospital in Mooresville.

Indiana Conservation Officer Kendrick Fuhrman is investigating the crash.

Alcohol and speed are suspected to have played a role in the crash.

An autopsy is scheduled today.

Assisting agencies include Morgan County Sheriff Department, Madison Township Fire Dept and Morgan County Coroners Office.
