(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Chamber of Commerce is offering a free seminar on the new federal overtime rules on July 12 from Noon until 1 p.m.
The seminar is part of their Business Education Series.
The Department of Labor has announced a rule change to the Fair Labor Standards Act that will take effect on December 1. The minimum salary floor will rise from its current $23,660 to $47,476. This change has significant implications because most every employer is affected with few exceptions.
This seminar will be presented by Christopher Schrader, President, Schrader and Associates.
