Last updated on Thursday, June 9, 2016

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department and IU Health Bloomington announced that when temperatures hit 90 degrees or hotter, admission to the city’s two pools — Bryan Park Pool and Mills Pool — will be half price from 4 to 6 p.m.

Admission to Bryan Park Pool and Mills Pool will be $2 for adults, and $1.50 for children younger than 17 years on these days.

Each morning, Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department staff will check the weather forecast and, if the temperature is supposed to reach 90 or above, both IU Health Bloomington Hospital and the parks and rec department will post on Facebook by 1 p.m. that it is a "90 Degree Pool Day."

Bryan Park Pool is open daily from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Mills Pool is open daily from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Regular admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children younger than 17.

Daily waterslide use fee at Bryan Park Pool is $2.50, and is not included in the 90 Degree Pool Days promotion.
