(WILLIAMS) - A Williams man was arrested after he allegedly put a bruise on a woman’s arm during a domestic fight.
Lawrence County Sheriff Mike Branham says police were called to a home in the 900 block of Ridgedale Road at 10:48 a.m. Tuesday after a woman called police to say her fiance had taken her cell phone and injured her.
When police arrived they found a 20-year-old pregnant woman with bruises on her arms. A friend's small child witnessed the fight.
Police arrested 25-year-old Arion Lagle of Williams on charges of battery on a pregnant woman and domestic battery in the presence of a child under the age of 16.
