(UNDATED) - The John Lowery Municipal Pool in Thornton Park in Bedford will be open Saturday.
The pool will be open daily from Noon until 6 p.m.
The pool will remain open until September 5th.
The pools features a water slide, diving boards, a large baby/children's pool water fountain, and a regular swimming pool with varying depths.
Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children, with a water slide day pass being an additional $1.50. Single passes are also available.
Mitchell City Pool, open daily from Noon till 5:45 p.m. each day school is out.
The large pool has varying depths as well as a diving board, slide, and baby pool.
Admission is $2 for adults and $1.50 for children. Single & family passes also available.
The Bedford Parks Department will offer swimming lessons beginning in June.
Swim Lesson Schedules:
Infant/Preschool: (Ages 1-5)
1st: June 6th-16th
2nd: June 20th-June 30th
3rd: July 11th-21st
Mon-Thurs 6:30 p.m. until 7:45 p.m.
Parents get in the water with the children in this class.
Learn to Swim: (Ages 4-15)
1st: June 6th-17th
2nd:June 20th-July 1st
3rd: July 11th-22nd
Morning Session: Mon-Fri 10a.m. till 11 a.m.
Evening Session: Mon-Thurs 6:30 p.m. till 7:45 p.m.
The cost is $30 a session.
