(BEDFORD) - The Indiana Department of Transportation will close State Road 158 near Bedford today for chip and seal operations.
Beginning at 7 a.m., INDOT crews will close State Road 158 between State Road 450 to the Crane gate. The road will be closed to through traffic.
However, local residents will have access to the point of closure.
Depending upon weather conditions work is expected to be finished by the end of May.
The official detour during the project follows State Road 37, State Road 58 and State Road 45.
