Hammack Returning To Brown County As New School Superintendent

(BROWN CO.) - Laura Hammack is returning to Brown County as the new school superintendent.

Hammack is not new to the school system she has been a teacher, principal and assistant superintendent. She left Brown County in the summer of 2009 to become assistant superintendent of Beech Grove City Schools on the southeast side of Indianapolis.

She is replacing Brown County Schools Superintendent David Shafer who is retiring.
