Bedford Man Arrested After Threatening Woman And Police

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man is facing charges of criminal confinement,intimidation and resisting arrested after he threatened police and prevented a woman from leaving a home in the 100 block of Parkwood Drive on Tuesday.

Bedford Police arrested 51-year-old Larry Bailey.

According to police, officers went to the home just before 2 a.m. after they received a call about a possible domestic dispute.

When police arrived a woman, who was visibly upset told police that she and Bailey had an argument. While police watched the woman gathered some of her things to leave, that is when Bailey allegedly grabbed her and would not let her leave. He then became physical with police.

Bailey then threatened the woman and officers.
