Washington Man Arrested After Attempting To Hide Meth In His Mouth

(WASHINGTON) - A Washington man was arrested after he ran from police and attempted to hide 39 grams of meth in his mouth.

Washington City Police arrested 38-year-old Carmodo Leake on charges of dealing meth, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest resulting in bodily injury and maintaining a common nuisance.

According to police, an officer stopped Leake on Northwest Second Street at 4:45 p.m. Thursday knowing Leake was driving on a suspended driver's license.

After stopping, Leake got out and ran. He was captured on West South Street. Police say Leake attempted to conceal about 39 grams, valued at $3,900 in his mouth. Leake also had marijuana and cash in his pockets.

K9 unit Diesel found more marijuana in Leake's vehicle.
