(FREETOWN) - A man riding a four-wheeler led Jackson County police on a chase that eventually led to his arrest Monday night.

The pursuit started at 10:51 p.m. in the 4000 block of Thompson Road in Owen Township.

Police arrested 47-year-old Ronald Dean Zike of Freetown on charges of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of meth and resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.

A second Freetown man, 35-year-old Robert Lee Taylor, was also arrested in connection with the incident that began when Jackson County Officer Dustin Steward investigated a report of two all-terrain vehicles in the road.
