(BLOOMINGTON) - A 16-year-old girl, dressed in just a bra and shorts and high on meth was arrested Monday morning after getting into a fight with an adult male.

Bloomington Police were called to the McDonald's on North Walnut Street around 8:30 a.m. after a report of a teenage girl in a fight with a male.

According to Capt. Steve Kellams, the girl told police she got into the fight with the man after he allegedly threatened her 17-year-old boyfriend the night before. The man involved in the fight fled before police arrived.

The girl clad only in her bra, short shorts was taken to the police station telling police she was homeless and had moved to Bloomington from Mississippi. Children Services was contacted and requested the teen be taken to the hospital because she was intoxicated on meth.

Once at the hospital the girl became combative, kicking and threatening to kill police officers and spitting on hospital staff.

After treatment the teen was arrested on charges of battery on a police officer and healthcare provider, public intoxication, resisting arrest and two counts of disorderly conduct. She was taken to a juvenile detention center.
