Last updated on Thursday, April 14, 2016

(BEDFORD) - A Noblesville woman was injured after she was struck by a pickup Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of 16th and N streets.

According to a Bedford Police report, police found 25-year-old Katherine Le Sesne sitting on the sidewalk. She was complaining of pain and was being treated for abrasions.

Police say 68-year-old David Haley of Bedford was turning northwest from N Street to 16th Street and never saw the woman until his 2015 Toyota Tacoma pick up hit her and she fell to the ground.

Le Sesne told police she had been walking south across 16th Street at the intersection and was halfway across the street when she was struck by the pickup.

Le Sesne told police she was "hit hard" and was thrown in the air and then hit the ground hitting her head.
