(OOLITIC) - Oolitic Festival officials are looking for local talent to perform at Oolitic Idol.
Individuals and duets can sign up beginning today.
The individual competition will have two divisions, youth 10-17 of age and adult, 18 and over. Only 20 acts will be accepted in each age group.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three performers. The first place winner will receive a t-shirt and a guest appearance on Super Oldies 105.5 WQRK with Rick St. Nick. The winner will also go on to help judge next year's event and win many more prizes.
New this year is the duets competition. So grab a signing partner and sing up. There is no age limits, so it can sign with your kids or children can sing together.

Deadline to enter is June 1. Registration forms are available at Oolitic Town Hall.
