Last updated on Tuesday, April 12, 2016

(BLOOMINGTON) - A naked man was arrested Sunday after causing more than $3,000 of damage after ransacked the store and throwing several bottles of sauces off the shelves at B-Town International Market.

An employee told police that they were standing in the market when the naked man ran through the front door from the parking lot.

The man was yelling and ran to a candy display and tried shaking it. When it wouldn't move he ran to the sauce aisle, pulling bottles off the shelf and broke them on the floor.

Police were called to the market in the 2900 block of East Covenanter Drive just before 9 p.m.

When a Bloomington Police officer arrived he says the naked man ran south through a parking lot.

According to Bloomington Sgt. Joe Crider, the officer ordered the man to stop, but he refused and charged at the officer. He then grabbed his left shoulder and reached toward the officer's gun.

During the struggle the man bit the officer on the arm and tore his uniform.

A nearby Monroe County deputy and Indiana University officers assisted in subduing the man with hobble restraints.

Police arrested 20-year-old Seungwoo Lee of Bloomington on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement, criminal mischief, public intoxication, public nudity and disorderly conduct.

Lee was first taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital, where Lee admitted to smoking marijuana and taking LSD.

After being medically cleared Lee was taken to jail.
