Man Calls Police After Being Robbed By Two Women

Last updated on Monday, April 25, 2016

(BLOOMINGTON) - A 66-year-old man called Bloomington police after he says he was robbed by two women.

Police were called to the 1800 block North Walnut Street, at 5:44 p.m. Thursday.

The man told police he was bending down to pick something up when two women pushed him to the ground, took his wallet out of his pocket and ran.

The man told police he encountered the women when he was staying at America's Best Value Inn, then paid for a room for them to share at Motel 6.

Police say the man's social media activity suggests he was in town to patronize prostitutes. An investigation continues.
