Live Well Lawrence County To Kick Off With Luncheon May 16

(BEDFORD) - Purdue Extension-Lawrence County is excited to help reinvigorate Live Well Lawrence County!

Please join us for our first meeting of the year on Monday, May 16, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Bedford Chamber of Commerce.

A healthy, delicious lunch will be available for a $5 donation.

The overall objective of this first meeting will be to discuss interest in building a broad, action-oriented community health coalition that includes participation from organizations and individuals across the spectrum of wellness in our community. Through greater collaboration, we hope to create a stronger impact.

Agenda will include:

Change in lead agency and discussion of leadership options
Health Coalition overview and expectations
Work group possibilities
CHANGE tool data collection and creating an ACTION plan
Continuation and expansion of public Lunch & Learn programming
Defining Mission & Vision
Representation from other coalitions in the community
