"The suspect lost the seat of his motorcycle just west of the Crest Motel," Durnil says.

The driver then turned onto Trogden Lane from Old State Road 37 at Salt Creek Brewery.

"Unable to make the turn, he lost control of the bike and went down. He then ran on foot, prompting the release of ISP K-9 Drogos," Durnil wrote.

ISP Sgt. Greg Day, Trooper Allen Deel, and Trooper Robert Whyte chased him on foot for roughly 200 feet before he was taken into custody in a field.

Police arrested 44-year-old Terry Srygler, of 139 Green Hill Addition.

"Inside one of Mr. Srygler's pocket troopers located about 5 grams of methamphetamine and two pipes," Durnil wrote.

The ISP Meth team conducted an interview with Srygler, which led to the search of his home where troopers found marijuana.
