Honky Tonk Heroes To Perform At Dogwood Festival

(ORLEANS) - The Honky Tonk Heroes band is scheduled to entertain at the upcoming Orleans Dogwood Festival on Friday, April 29.

The 5-piece band from Southern Indiana specializing in what is sometimes called "Outlaw" county will perform on the main stage downtown at 7 p.m.

The band is a cover band that plays songs primarily from Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. Other traditional artists are represented too including George Jones, Hank Williams and Buck Owens.

Musicians in the band include: Shayne Koons on lead guitar, Craig Koons on bass, Roz Turner on fiddle, Brad Able on drums and Sean Steel who is a teacher at Orleans Jr.-Sr. High, doing vocals and rhythm guitar.
