First Lady Karen Pence To Stop In Daviess And Greene Counties Today

(UNDATED) - First Lady Karen Pence will be in Daviess and Greene Counties today.

The First Lady, Indiana's Bicentennial Ambassador, will be dressed in 19th century period costume when she visits fourth graders at North Elementary School in Washington.

Among other things, she will lead activities to commemorate Indiana's bicentennial year, including leading an Indiana county map puzzle activity and giving Bicentennial pencils to students.

Later in the day, she will visit the Greene County Economic Development Corporation where she will learn about two of Greene County's Bicentennial Legacy Projects.
