Dogwood Pedal April 30

(ORLEANS) - The Dogwood Pedal is a great cycling event for riders of all levels and is returning again this year as a Dogwood Festival event on April 30.

There are routes for the entire family with a total of 52 miles available for hard-core riders.

Riders will experience great roads, fantastic scenery, a friendly Amish community and a helpful support staff.

Registration includes snacks at the SAG stops. Registration is from 7 a.m. till 9 a.m. at Orleans Elementary School. SAG support stops at 2 p.m. Riders can take off as soon as they register.

Registration is $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event. Riders 10 and under are free but must be accompanied by an adult. Register online at https://runsignup.com/dogwoodpedal-signup.

All the proceeds from this event will go to support the Orleans Dogwood Festival.

Event T-shirts are also available to purchase.

Cyclist can arrive early and enjoy the annual Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast from 6:30 a.m. till 9:30 am.

After the ride, participants can visit Congress Square and enjoy the festival and enjoy the parade that will step off at 2 p.m.
