Deadline To Enter First Judah Festival Scholarship Pageant Is May 2

(JUDAH) - The First Judah Festival Scholarship Pageant will be held on June 23.

Interviews will begin at Noon with the pageant starting at 2:30 p.m. The queen will be crowned at 6 p.m. on the Judah Festival Main State.

This year's queen will receive a gold rose from J Howard Jewelers, a ticket to Holiday World, the $500 scholarship and tons of other prizes. There will also be a First and Second Runner-up picked and Miss Congeniality, who will win prizes.

All contestants must be Lawrence County residents and going to be incoming freshman from the 2016-17 school year through grade 12 including graduating seniors from 2015-2016 school year.

Judging will be on interviews, theme wear, which is a themed outfit from this year's theme, the Fabulous 50's, formal dress and onstage questions. More information is available on the Judah Festival Scholarship Pageant Facebook page.

The entry fee is $30 and must be turned in with entry form, biography questions and a billfold size photo by May 2 in a sealed envelope at Johnny Junxions.
