(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are investigating a stabbing that happened inside of Brothers Bar & Grill early Saturday morning.
Bloomington Police Lt. john Kovach says the 23-year-old man suffered a deep laceration to his side. He was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital where he underwent surgery.
No arrests have been made and information is not yet available on the suspect.
Around 1 a.m., officers were called to the Walnut Street establishment after a report of a fight. When police entered the building they saw the wounded man clutching his left side.
Detectives are interviewing witnesses and attempting to review Brothers and other relevant video surveillance to determine a suspect.
