(BLOOMFIELD) - The Bloomfield Police Department (BPD) is seeking the community's help in getting criminals off the streets.

Town Marshal Kenny Tharp says as part of a continued effort to keep the community safe, the department will be utilizing online and print resources to share the names and faces of those with warrants or writs of attachment who have last known addresses in the Town of Bloomfield.

"The Bloomfield Police Department wants to send a message to these people who are evading the criminal justice system that if you are wanted by the law, don't look at our town as a safe haven. We will find you and you will be incarcerated," Tharp explained.

The names, photos and warrant information will be published the first Wednesday of every other month on the BPD Facebook page (BloomfieldPD Indiana), Twitter(@BloomfieldPD), on the department's web page, on local media and available on the GCDW Facebook page.

Those with information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals can call CrimeStoppers at (812) 847-5463 or (866) 446-4672; call Greene County Dispatch at 812-384-4411 option 1; email the BPD at; or provide tips through the department's Facebook page.
