(GIBSON CO.) - A Washington man who was the driver of the van that crashed on I-69 in Gibson County in September resulting in two deaths will take a plea deal.

A trial date of April 25th has been taken off the docket and replaced with a 10 a.m. sentencing hearing.

30-year-old Allen was the driver of the van involved in the I-69 accident on September 24 killing two; 29-year-old Christela Georges and 60-year-old Gena Moise. Both women died from injuries sustained in the incident.

Allen is facing 22 charges including driving while under the influence of marijuana resulting in the death. He also faces at least three civil suits as a result of the crash.
