Two Seymour Residents Arrested On Felony Drug Charges

Last updated on Friday, March 4, 2016

(SEYMOUR) - Police report that the search of a residence early Tuesday morning on Seymour’s east side yielded evidence of a drug operation that included the sale of heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana.

That evidence led to police requesting a dozen criminal charges, including dealing in methamphetamine and marijuana, against 36-year-old William Richard McCasland and 11 charges against 43-year-old Peggy Ann Leturgez.

The two Seymour residents were initially arrested Monday night on charges of maintaining a common nuisance. The new charges were added after Seymour Officer Jim Handley obtained a search warrant for the home the pair share in the 700 block of Euclid Avenue.
