(INDIANAPOLIS) - State Sen. Brent Steele, R-Bedford, welcomed his granddaughters Lindley Steele to serve as a Senate page.
Lindley, a Shawswick Middle School student, spent a day in February touring the historic building, observing debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators.
Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the session.
