Police Find Stinesville Man Hiding In Kitchen Cabinet

(ELLETTSVILLE) - Police found a Stinesville man who was wanted on several felony warrants hiding in a kitchen cabinet.

Police arrested 31-year-old Donald Lee Anderson II on Saturday on felony warrants charging unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, theft, battery, criminal mischief and failure to appear. He also faces two additional charges of resisting law enforcement and intimidation.

Police went to an address in Stinesville in an attempt to locate Anderson but were unable to locate him.

They were provided another address on West Walker Lane in Ellettsville, where he was staying. Police located him hiding in a kitchen cabinet.

As police attempted to arrest Anderson he pushed deputies away. Once in the patrol car, he verbally threatened the deputies.

Anderson was booked into the Monroe County Jail at 5:10 a.m. Saturday.
