(LINTON) - A Linton man is recovering after he was shot Tuesday night.
According to the Greene County Police, officers were called to a shooting incident Tuesday night on County Road 1300 West in Linton at 9:45 p.m.
When police arrived they found that 28-year-old Alejandro Garcia had suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his lower extremities.
The press release states Garcia was allegedly shot by 52-year-old Russell D. Hardisty of Linton.
The incident remains under investigation.
GCSD was assisted by the Linton Police Department, Indiana State Police and Indiana Conservation Department.
