ISP Pursuit Reaches Speeds Of More Than 125 Miles Per Hour, English Man Arrested

(CRAWFORD CO.) - An English resident was arrested after pursuit in Crawford County.

At 1:10 a.m. this morning, Indiana State Trooper Justin Mears was on routine patrols in Interstate 64 when he noticed a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling at more than 115 mile per hour.

Trooper Mears activated his emergency lights and attempted to pull over the driver, however her failed to stop and continued westbound on I-64. The driver then exited onto State Road 66 and continued traveling northbound at more than 125 miles per hour.

The motorcycle neared Water Town Road and turned into a drive way at 4650 South State Road 66, in English, and stopped.

Trooper Mears immediately arrested the driver 28-year-old Dylan Allen.

Upon further investigation, Trooper Mears found Allen was intoxicated.

Allen was transported to the Crawford County Jail on felony charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction and misdemeanor charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and reckless driving.
