(JUDAH) - Four drivers were injured in a four-vehicle accident Friday at 5:44 p.m. on Ind. 37 at the Judah junction.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 38-year-old Kyle R. Kent of Mitchell was driving south on State Road 37 in a 1996 Honda Accord nearing the stop light at Old State Road 37 when his vehicle struck the rear of a 2003 Mazda MX-5 driven by 65-year-old Carolyn Nikirk of Bedford.

The force of the collision caused Nikirk's car to hit a 2008 Pontiac G6 driven by 40-year-old Bridget Porter of Springville.

The accident forced the G6 to strike a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville driven by 49-year-old Susan Conner of Avoca.

Nikirk complained of pain of back pain. Porter and Conner complained of body pain.

Kent, who admitted to smoking marijuana shortly before the accident happened, suffered minor bleeding to his lower leg area. He was treated at the scene, and a blood draw test is pending.

An Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital ambulance responded and took Nikirk to a hospital for treatment. Porter and Conner both refused any treatment.
