Former Martinsville Chili's Manager Arrested After Videotaping Women In Restroom

Last updated on Thursday, March 31, 2016

(MARTINSVILLE) - A former manager of the Martinsville Chili’s has been charged with allegedly videotaping eight women changing clothes or using the bathroom in the local restaurant’s restroom. His fiancĂ© found the videos on a home computer and called police.

40-year-old Justin Carl Behnke of Indianapolis has been charged with 15 felony counts of voyeurism.

The charges were filed Wednesday morning in Morgan County Circuit Court.

According to the probable cause affidavit Behnke used a motion-activated camera, no bigger than a cell phone, hidden in a ceiling vent over a stall in the women's restroom. He allegedly recorded women over a seven-month period.

Police say Behnke admitted to videotaping the women from March until August of last year, telling investigators he only saved the footage that aroused him the most. He claimed to only have 50 video files, none of which were of children, and he did not share any of them online.

Investigators say they've identified eight victims, all who have watched the videos and confirmed they it was them in the footage.

Behnke is currently out on bond. He also faces voyeurism charges in Hendricks County for allegedly taping women in the bathroom of his Avon home.
