City Of Bloomington Yard Waste Removal Resumes April 4

(BLOOMINGTON) - City of Bloomington yard waste removal will resume on April 4th and will continue every other week on your regularly scheduled recycling collection days.

Here are a few helpful tips for the upcoming yard waste collection season:

  • Yard Waste bags may be purchased at a local hardware store or vendor
  • Have all bags, cans, or bundles at the curb by 5 a.m. on your pickup day
  • Yard Waste will be collected on the same day as is the recycling every other week
  • Yard waste cannot be put into plastic bags for pickup
  • Sticks, brush, and branches must be tied together in a bundle and cannot be larger than 4 ft. by 2 ft.
  • Each bag, can, or bundle will need a yard waste collection sticker, must be no more than 35 gallons, and must weigh less than 40 pounds
