Bloomington Mayor Announces New Director Of Planning And Transportation

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington­ Mayor John Hamilton announced that Noblesville Deputy Mayor Christy Langley has been hired as the new Director of Planning and Transportation for the City of Bloomington.

She will begin her duties on March 28.

Prior to serving as Deputy Mayor, Langley was Noblesville's Director of Planning and Development.

"Ms.Langley holds a Masters of Public Affairs from Indiana University, Bloomington, so she is familiar with Bloomington and happy to return to our city. We look forward to benefiting from her deep base of knowledge and experience in planning and development. She has a creative and enthusiastic approach to problem solving and great consensus building skills. We welcome Ms. Langley back to town and wish her great success here", Hamilton commented.

Langley holds her certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners and has taught at both IU and Ball State University.
