Bedford Man Injured After Crashing Vehicle Into Bedford Little Theater

Last updated on Wednesday, March 30, 2016

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man suffered facial injuries after he blacked out and crashed his vehicle into Bedford Little Theater Monday afternoon.

According to a Bedford Police report, 60-year-old Kent Robbins of Bedford was traveling south on Brain Lane Way when he allegedly blacked out and crossed the center line at the Bedford Little Theater. The 2204 General Motors Sierra pickup continued east across the roadway and drove onto the sidewalk.

The truck then struck the right front of a parked 2012 Chrysler, owned by Alexandria Lynn of Bedford. The Chrysler spun clockwise 180 degrees before stopping.

Police say the pickup continued south in front of the Little Theater where the left front side of the truck struck the front of the building. The right side of the truck struck an overhead sign post, which helped bring the vehicle to a stop.

Robbins told police he could not remember any events of the accident.
