Two Arrested After Police Find Meth And Gun

(SCOTTSBURG) - Two arrested after Indiana State Police and a deputy from the Scott County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 228 Larry Lane in Scottsburg at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

ISP Sgt. Jerry D. Goodin says that during the search officers found meth, drug paraphernalia and a hand gun.

Police arrested two people found in the home:

39-year-old Joseph Buzzard of Scottsburg is facing felony charges of possessing meth with a handgun and maintaining a common nuisance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

36-year-old Valerie E. Dicus of Salem is facing charges of a parole violation.

Both were incarcerated at the Scott County Jail.
