(LOOGOOTEE) - Martin County authorities report a multi-agency drug investigation resulted in the arrest of two men and the confiscation of meth with a street value in excess of $20,000.

Authorities say a four-day investigation by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department and Loogootee City Police led to the arrests.

During the investigation, police received a search warrant that was executed early on Valentine's Day morning.

During that search officers found digital scales, methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, hypodermic needles, spoons, sandwich baggies and razor blades with meth residue on them and other items.

The resident at the home on Cooper Street was not there at the time, so an officer watched the home until he returned.

At the time police arrested 39-year-old Justin Blake of Loogootee on charges of maintaining a common nuisance, possession of meth, dealing in meth and possession of a controlled substance.

The information then sent police two days later to a home in Daviess County.

There Martin County deputies arrested 40-year-old Brandon D. Miller of rural Montgomery.

A search warrant was served at Miller's home on County Road 550 East, by both Daviess County Sheriff's Department and Martin County authorities.

In the home police found almost a half pound of meth with an estimated street value $20,000 and several grams of marijuana.

Miller was arrested on charges of visiting a common nuisance, possession and dealing meth.

Police believe Miller was operating in Martin County, but keeping his stash of drugs in Daviess County.

Blake is being held in the Martin County Jail without bond. Miller is being held on $100,000 bond.
