Last updated on Monday, February 15, 2016

(MEDORA) - A Medora woman was injured after she crashed her vehicle into a creek just before noon on Saturday in Jackson County.

According to a Jackson County Police report, 21-year-old Angela England complained of back, arm and head pain after the wreck in the 9000 block of County Road 75 South.

England was treated at the scene by Jackson County Emergency Medical Services before being taken to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. She was later flown by Stat Flight to Methodist Hospital.

Police say that England lost control of her 2005 Jeep Laredo which overturned and traveled 10 feet down an embankment, coming to rest on its side in a creek.

Police were initially told that a woman was trapped in the vehicle, but when police arrived England was out of the vehicle and walking out of the creek.

Assisting at the scene were Conservation Officer Phil Nale, Carr Township Fire Department and Morrison Wrecker Service in Brownstown.
