(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Sheriff Mike Branham has partnered with Public Service Leadership Series to provide top tier leadership training and development for law enforcement, by translating state-of-the-art research into every-day best practices.
The partnership, forged by Sheriff Branham, demonstrates a genuine recognition of the vital importance of a well-trained police force.
"The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department is pleased to host this leadership training given by BoB Ross and his PSLI team. Their excellent curriculum and trainers bring real meaning to the word 'leadership' in the law enforcement realm." Sheriff Branham added.
The department will participate in their first module "Strengthening Your Leadership Core" March 28 - April 1.
This module hones in on the basic premise that public safety organizations routinely do not do a good enough job of communicating who they truly are and all they contribute to the communities they serve. J
"We believe the best leaders have learned how to inspire, serve, and lead by motivating, valuing and growing others through developed leadership competencies," says BoB Ross author and facilitator for PSLI.
In his 25 years of service to law enforcement communities, Ross has certainly captured the essence of valued leadership. He developed the PSLI Series to fill a leadership void and continues to enhance the series by adding top notch facilitators like Lance Bella, and a host of expert presenters. Together they will assist current and aspiring leaders in bridging the gap between the existing levels of effectiveness (both real & imagined) and the goals they'd like to achieve.
