(BEDFORD) - A Lawrence County jury will begin hearing testimony on Tuesday in the trial of Sandi Miller.

39-year-old Miller is facing three Class A felony counts of child molesting. He was arrested on March 7, 2013 and is being represented by Mary Higdon and Stacy Uliana.

Opening statements are scheduled to start at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday in Lawrence Superior Court I with Judge Michael Robbins presiding.

Miller is represented by Mary Higdon and Stacy Uliana. He was being held on $200,000 surety or 10% $20,000 cash bond. His attorneys filed for a bond reduction and Miller was released to electronic monitoring on July 8, 2013. Judge Robbins also issued a no contact order against Miller preventing him to contact the victim or her family.

According to court records, Judge Robbins released Miller from house arrest on August 4, 2015 pending the following terms: no alcohol/controlled substance use and submit to screens; comply with no contact order; no criminal law violations; stay in contact with counsel; report to all court proceedings.

According to a probable cause affidavit, police began their investigation after the girl and her mother went to Susie's Place, a child advocacy center, to report that the child had been sexually abused. The first instance happened when the child was 7 years old.
