Indiana State Police Arrest Another Alleged Drug Dealer In Scott County

(SCOTTSBURG) - On January 28th, troopers from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg along with federal agents from the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and Scott County Deputies executed a search warrant at 3776 East Plymouth Road in Scottsburg in rural Scott County.

The search warrant was the result of an investigation conducted by troopers of alleged drug dealing taking place at the residence. During the search warrant officers located approximately 28 pounds of marijuana in an outbuilding near the home. Police say the marijuana has a street value of more than $50,000.

On Tuesday police arrested 37-year-old Steven Sipe of Scottsburg on a warrant after he turned himself in at the Scott County Jail.

Sipe is facing charges of maintaining a common nuisance, dealing marijuana over 10 pounds and being a habitual offender.
